Two Sycamores
Oil on Canvas --
12" x 16"
On display at the 2nd Floor Gallery, Mechanicsburg, PA
Two Sycamores was inspired by a trip to Warm Springs Lodge in Perry County. The trees grow on the banks of Sherman’s Creek, directly across the road from the lodge. I was fascinated by the play of light and shadows of twisting branches across their trunks, as well as the warmly muted colors of the grass on this unseasonably warm January day.
