A native of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Don Brandt attended Wilkes College where he studied art history, design and composition. He studied drawing and painting in different mediums at the Murray School of Art. He also studied under master artists in the Wilkes-Barre and Harrisburg areas. His paintings, sculpture and drawings have been selected and exhibited in a significant number of juried art shows and can be found in numerous private as well as corporate collections. A 34-year member of the renowned Seven Lively Artists and a former member of the Art Association of Harrisburg Board of Directors, Don distributes his painting time between Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Maine. Currently, Don is teaching oil and acrylic classes at the New
Cumberland Third Street Gallery as well as the Art Center School and
Galleries where he has been a member and guest instructor for 25 years. |
